DATÇA
Datça is a beautiful peninsula located in the southwest Turkey where Mediterranean meets the Eagean. Having an enormous beauty combined with green and blue, Datça offers its untouched natural beauty to its visitors. Compared to the other tourist attractions nearby, (such as Bodrum, Fethiye and Marmaris) Datça is away from mass tourism which makes it even more charming.

PLACES TO VISIT

Old Datça
Eski Datça (meaning old Datça) is named after the old houses in the neighborhood. It’s history dates back to the 11th century BC. Old Datca presents a great visuality with its narrow, stone-paved streets surrounded by stone-built houses. One of the most popular poets of Turkey, Can Yücel, spent the last years of his life and passed away in this neighborhood.
Knidos Ancient City
The ancient city of Knidos was a highly developed city, the history of which goes back to the 3rd century BC. The city was an important trading port and has brought up the greatest mathematicians, painters and architects of history.
In Knidos Ancient City there was the famous Aphrodite Temple. In the middle of the temple was a statue of Aphrodite, which had a very high artistic value. But the sculpture was later destroyed. Today, only parts of the sculpture remain.


Old Windmills of Kızlan
The famous windmills of Datça which are in Kızlan village (where our villa is located in) are one of the must-visits with its abandoned looking.
The view of the mountain with a sleeping native American silhouette is very famous in Datça and can be seen perfectly from our villa.
Bays
Datça is famous for its beautiful bays with blue flag beaches. Kargı Bay, Gereme Bay, Palamutbükü, Hayıtbükü, Ovabükü and Burgaz Beach are some of them.
